Physician Leadership and Management Certificate Program

NOTE: THIS PROGRAM IS HYBRID. APPROXIMATELY 20% OF CLASSES WILL BE HELD FACE-TO-FACE AT OUR TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER CAMPUS. SOME MEETINGS WILL OCCUR SYNCHRONOUSLY BETWEEN 6-9P ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS BUT WILL BE RECORDED AND AVAILABLE TO VIEW AT YOUR CONVENIENCE. The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) Center for Executive Education have partnered to introduce an exclusive opportunity for you to advance your education. The Physician Leadership and Management Certificate program will provide you with practical information to help you lead and succeed in the practice of medicine and navigate the complex U.S. healthcare industry.

You will learn from recent case studies as well as interactive and group work. Courses are taught by instructors from UHCL's Healthcare Administration Program and content experts. Those who complete the 81-hour program will receive the Physician Leadership and Management Certificate from University of Houston-Clear Lake and will also receive partial credit towards completion of the Certified Physician Executive designation.
