Fee includes textbook and instruction materials. Register by Sept. 12, 2020 and save $50 ($499)! UHCL alumni, faculty, and staff can add an additional discount. IMPORTANT - when registering your child, please make sure to put a parent or legal guardian's email in the registration and not the child's email.

The First Day of Class...

    A 30-minutes before 1st class parents and student online meeting will take place to review the course requirements, objectives, and expectations with the instructor. Classes will be held Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon completely ONLINE COURSE through Skype.
    • This course will focus on the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math skills to bridge gaps in learning, and ultimately, to help students succeed in college. Students will receive explicit reading instruction, timely relevant feedback on writing assignments, and math instruction. .

    • Who should attend? Students who are seeking more reading, writing, and math content review to increase the likelihood that they will be ready for the rigors of college.

    • Why continue to stay SAT ready? There is a straight line from a student's academic foundation to SAT preparedness to college readiness.

Jennifer Ledwith

Jennifer has taught SAT and PSAT Prep to students in public and private schools. She has also prepared students for standardized tests such as Texas Assessment of Academic Skills, Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, Texas Higher Education Assessment, Graduate Record Exam, and American College Testing. Through private tutoring, Jennifer has helped students with math, writing, and reading from some of the top schools in the area. Her students have gone on to attend or graduate from the University of Texas, Texas A&M, University of Houston, and many other top-ranked universities located both in Texas and throughout the nation.
