Healthcare Management Certificate Program

This course is open to all medical residents and students with an interest in healthcare leadership and management. Registration is required, and participants will be asked to provide a valid institutional or professional email address to confirm eligibility.

The purpose of this program is to provide aspiring healthcare leaders with a competitive advantage as they prepare to take on leadership roles in their careers. This four-week course offers foundational business training to help participants navigate the complex and evolving landscape of the healthcare industry.Instruction will be delivered by faculty from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and professional subject matter experts currently working in healthcare systems in the Texas Medical Center. The course includes recent case studies, interactive discussions, and collaborative exercises, which can be completed in both hybrid and fully online formats.Participants who complete all course modules will receive a “Healthcare Management Certificate” from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
